Greatness. That’s who you are. That’s what’s in you.

We’re following Jesus. And it’s not a matter of playing catch up, it’s because He sees our potential. And He’s calling us into it. He knows who we are, even if we don’t yet know.

He has so much more for us than we could know.

Ever notice that when you get close to God, you feel great about yourself?
There’s a sense of greatness when you get close to Him.
Because that’s who you are. Ad He’s drawing it out of you.

And we need that. We need to be inspired. We need to know that we’re great, and we’re called to greatness. Called to so much.

And we need to know that, because we’ve got one life to live. One life.

But you need to believe that. Be convicted of your own greatness, in Christ. Because your faith will open doors.

Our problem isn’t “I think too highly of myself.” Our problem is more often shame and guilt and condemnation. We don’t believe we are of value or able to accomplish amazing things.

It wouldn’t be a problem to think “I’m amazing, I can do anything, God loves me so much!!”

We need to be re-wired. In the way we think. We need encounters in His presence. And with  His greatness. We need to get close to greatness. That greatness might be inspired in us.

We need to encounter God.
So that we become an encounter.

We don’t need another church. We need THE church, but we don’t need another church in this city. We live in a city saturated with church buildings… What our city needs is encounters with the God we all believe in.

2 Cor 3:3
We are the message!!

John 1
“And the Word became flesh… And dwelt among us.”

And the word became flesh. Became flesh! Praise God the Word became flesh! He came and dwelt among us. HE was the message!

And in your life… He wants to become flesh! “Put on Christ.” Let the Word become flesh in you. Don’t just listen to the message… Don’t just preach the message… become the message!

That the world might read the letter of your life!

The world is receiving a message from you… What message is it?

You have encountered God, that you might become an encounter for someone else! The world is waiting for you!
