“ But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children… We were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us,” 1Thess. 2:7-8.

This scripture rocked my world over the past week. This is exactly what we want to model through club! As we share the Gospel, God confirms his word with radical displays of his love; mainly healings of injured body parts from skateboarding, haha!! We also live our lives with the ones we want to minister to, like Jesus and his disciples. We love these dudes so much that we live out the Gospel before them in everyday circumstances, inviting them into our lives, not just the acalades and big extravaganzas where people can get forgotten about. It’s so powerful when preaching, teaching, and miracles are accompanied with relationship! These skaters want a God who is close to them and understands their needs, not just a magician in the sky. At skateclub we give them the real Jesus. Skateparks, grocery stores, school, work, and play; this is where Jesus is revealed.
